Truly useful, I turned my autoridio in-dash with monitro 7 "in a tochscreen, so I created my carputer without having to buy another monitor.
For installation, I dismantled the screen and I have applied from the screen to the hype

Top geeignet für Eeepc 701. Die Plantine kann auch leicht zugeschnitten werden, damit dieses zwischen Arbeitsspeicher und WLAN Modul auf dem Mainboard passt. Leider ist die Elektronik zu empfindlich und mir sind schon zwei Module geputt gegangen. (durch Kurzschluss zwischen den Kabeln die zur Touchscreenfolie gehen, zieht dann nur noch ständig nach unten links)

wonderful, if your touchscreen decided to died it's a good and cheap (related to the cost of a new touch screen) solution. not too difficult to replace but some manual capabilities needed
Tolles Teil, habe es in meinen EEEPX eingebaut, die Controllerplatine ca 2cm gekürzt und unter EEEXubuntu mit dem evtouch Treiber ans Laufen gebracht (Der mitgelieferte und der von der Herstellerseite wollte nicht so recht). War zwar ein gewisses Gefummel bis alles eingerichtet war, funktioniert nun aber perfekt!

Habe bereits mehrere dieser Touchscreens gekauft und in Asus EEEPCs der 701er Klasse eingebaut.
Unter XP lief alles sofort, unter Linux empfehle ich, nicht die mitgelieferten Treiber zu nutzen, sondern lieber auf die Stabdard-Touchscreen Treiber. Läuft damit recht problemlos unter Ubuntu 7.10 und 8.04.
